My passion for art is deeply rooted in the belief that it has the power to bring us closer to our Father, the ultimate creator, as a tangible means of adopting His very nature. We were created to be the salt of the earth. Salt preserves. It heals and flavors. To me, that is the essence of art.

Hi, I’m Shannon! I’m from Winter Park, Florida but have called upstate South Carolina home for ten years now. Without downplaying the strikingly beautiful seasons and mountains my new city has to offer, I am forever a Florida girl at heart, feeling most myself floating in the ocean until someone pulls me out by my pruned feet to check for a pulse or announces we’re going to get Mexican.

My work as an artist is largely influenced by Florida living, infused with bright, bold color and happy, warm subject matter you’d find on vacation. In juxtaposition to the bright colorways found in the majority of my work, I am also known for custom heirloom charcoal portraits, popular among the fellow mamas in my circle.

As an occupational therapist am always seeking out fresh ways of incorporating art into my treatment plans with patients. I’ve seen firsthand its power to heal across all ages and diagnoses and find the process incredibly healing in my own life as well.

I have always had a knack for creative expression and have enjoyed sharing my art with family and friends for years. I’m so excited to now be sharing it with you! I hope you find something here that stirs in you a sense of nostalgia, hope, awe of creation- or at the very least, that my work inspires you to tap into your own creativity and emboldens you to share your gifts with the world.
